British Schools Film Festival

On Thursday, 28th April the classes 6Ra, 6Rb and 6Rc had a trip to Ludwigburg. We went along with our two English teachers Frau Kaplan and Herr Kraft and Frau Paulitz to Luna Lichtspieltheater. We had a meeting point at 7.50 am at the train station in Kirchheim and we took a train from there to Ludwigsburg. When we arrived there we had to walk a little bit. All of us grabbed some popcorn, candy and drinks and watched “The Secret Garden” (Britfilms – Englisches Schulfilmfestival) in it’s original language with German subtitles. The film was about a girl whose parents died and she had to go live with her uncle. There, she found out that the house and the people in it kept a lot of secrets. One day she went exploring and started finding a lot of weird things. From that point on she had a mission. The film was pretty interesting and the experience itself was really good. When the film ended we walked back to the train station in Ludwigsburg and we parted ways with the kids who stayed there. The rest of us took the train back to Kirchheim.
Overall it was a great experience and we can’t wait for the next trips!
